Delete your Kashi account
This page explains how users of the Kashi app can request account deletion and what happens to the associated data.
How to request deletion
To request deletion of your Kashi account, please follow these steps:
- 1Open the Kashi app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- 2Go to the user profile section.
- 3Select the option to delete your account and confirm the request.
- 4Follow any additional verification steps shown in the app to complete the deletion process.
Processing timeline
Account deletion requested from the app is processed after confirmation. If you cannot access the app, our support team can help you verify the request.
The primary method is through the user profile section inside the app. Email support is only a fallback if you cannot access your account.
Data we delete
Once the request is verified and processed, Kashi deletes or anonymizes the following data associated with your account:
- Profile details such as your name, email address, phone number, and business name.
- Team member access linked only to your account.
- Operational business data stored in the app, including inventory records, sales history, customer credit records, supplier balances, notes, and app preferences.
Data we may retain temporarily
Some limited data may be kept for a short time after deletion for security, fraud prevention, and infrastructure reasons:
- Encrypted backup copies may remain in our secure backups for up to 30 days before automatic deletion.
- System logs needed to investigate abuse, fraud, or security incidents may be retained for up to 90 days.
Data we may retain when required by law
If applicable, Kashi may retain limited records that we are legally required to keep, such as billing, tax, or dispute-related records.
- These retained records are restricted to the minimum information necessary to comply with legal obligations.
- They are kept only for the legally required retention period and are not used to reactivate your account.
